About Me
This is Ahmed Pipul, a Bangladeshi journalist have been working in the Bangladeshi media industry for more than 20 years. I worked as Special Correspondent of International Television Channel Limited- Ntv. In the year of 2005, I joined at Ntv, after successfully completed 17 years of formal education with Master Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka. I also took part in a fellowship program of Reuters which is considered as the world-renowned media organization.
As a journalist my prime duties was to report the program of Honorable President and Prime Minister of Bangladesh. In addition, my area of specialization is environmental journalism. I work to raise consciousness among people about the crisis of present climate changing issues. ‘To Save the Nature’ is his main moto of Journalism. He has made numbers of report to protect the nature. In this connection Mr. Ahmed was attended Media Dialogue on Trans Boundary Resources Management for example Bangladesh and India Perspective which was held in Bangkok, Thailand 2011 organized by IUCN. For investigative Report on Water Logging at Bhabadaha Jessore, in Bangladesh I was considered the sincerest person and also awarded First Prize (Disaster Management national Award 2007) from the Ministry of Food and Disaster Management. On the other hand, I prepared news report on United Nation General Assembly twice (USA- 2010 & 2015), Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit (Australia- 2011), UNCTAD Conference (Qatar- 2012), European Development Day Summit (Sweden- 2009), SAARC Summit (Bhutan- 2010 & Nepal- 2014), Munich Security Conference (Germany- 2019) & many more international gatherings. In this case I travelled lots of country across the globe and very successfully performed my job.
I am a member of Jatiyo Press Club of Bangladesh, Dhaka Reporters Unity, Parliament Journalist Association of Bangladesh, Dhaka University Alumni Association & some national-international organization. Also, he worked as Joint Secretary, in Dhaka University Mass Communication & Journalism Alumni Association. As an experienced professional journalist, he has several publications. One of my notable Publication is “Understanding the pattern of Cell Phone Use: A Study on Dhaka University Students” which is published at Social Science Review, in the Dhaka University Studies. My dream is to work for ensuring healthy nature & healthy life for the people through my news reporting.
